As an early childhood educator, I have taught in Montessori and international schools and completed research/training regarding the Reggio Emilia school system. Recent research work has focussed on ECE issues and choice in public education in British Columbia.

I hold a Master of Education degree from the University of British Columbia; a British Columbia ECE diploma; Montessori teacher certification from AMI (Holland); and, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.

My current research interest is focussed on the establishment of ECE centres of excellence in urban centres.
